Recent Sculpture
In the recent sculptures, the pieces are often dealing with how to be "a support" to a projected image. The usual limitations of an an autonomous piece are questioned, when the sculpture is a platform or a screen with a certain material surface, onto which an image is projected.The image may be dissolved by the surface of the screen, or rejected and cast out onto the surrounding space.
At other times the projected image may be hard to see if projected into the center of a sculptural object.It may seem to hide, an only be visible from certain angles.
Or the sculpture as screen may be collaborating with the projected image, as each part is needed for the whole to exist.
