The three works have been shown in different constellations and seperately.
"Jennys Occasional Songs" is a large collage with an overflow of characters.The title refers to the american singer jennifer Lopez, who is used as a placeholder or ikon for a multitude of personalities and traits.In the right part of the collage, a number of rather less professional sounding occasional songs and poetry with rhymes float around, and various voices form an image of a multifacetted female creature.
At a different level, the work deals with woman and the gaze, and is staged even when lost in her own inner world of fantasies, reading, and creativity.It seems these media images of woman simultaneously support traditional gender norms and apply an understanding of norms that are changing.
